When toddlers attack

Clara has just mastered walking this week, but doesn't seem willing to rest on her laurels -- she's hellbent on conquering the playground equipment at our local park, where other parents have given her a nickname:  Clar-Devil.  The child tips the scales at just over 16 pounds, but is fearless.  I say she'll be Daddy's little Scuba buddy.  Papá says Daddy will find his regulator line has been cut if he tries.
Here, is this the way up?

No, I think it's this way...
I did it!

Now, through the tunnel

Hey!  Olivia's down there!

Hi Olivia!

Meanwhile, Olivia watches her sister's acrobatics with pause
...makes like a koala, and turns her attention to tasty eucalyptus leaves littering the ground.

  1. Great pics! We hope to have you over again some time. Cheers!

  2. Adorable! And somewhat frightening... :-)

  3. Ooh, I'm so envious of you now, but that will likely change in 12-13 years. :)

  4. Fearlessness is a wonderful quality to have, now as parents we need to inherited the trait so we can allow the exploration and growth our children crave. So easy to say, so hard to do....

I struggle still with the playground and dare - devilness of our girls. I try so hard to be there but not help, catch to make the landing softer. (this does not always happen)

Now let the good times of independence roll....

  5. Classic. And we are also experiencing acrobatics,...it seems girls just wanna have fun...and scare the crap out of their daddies. Hugs to your gymnast and koala...

  6. She is so beautiful! She is so gorgeous!I wouldn't be able to do anything except hold her and play with her all day. God bless you dear.
